Leather jewelry designer Lauren Brink was born in Johannesburg, South Africa.

“I have always had an interest and love for global arts and crafts, which in many ways, has had a strong influence on several of my designs” she says.  Lauren’s passion for creating leather accessories started when she was living in Spain, where she would spend hours in local leather stores around Madrid, rummaging around, looking for their best and most unusual pieces.

Now calling Greenville, South Carolina home, Lauren hand crafts each of her designs using leathers sourced primarily from Italy, as well as Spain, Portugal, Argentina and South Africa.  Her earrings have become well known for their lightweight quality, which allows women to wear striking, elegant pieces that, most importantly, are comfortable.

“I feel incredibly fortunate that I have been able to turn my passion into a small business.  “Amahle” is the Zulu word for “beautiful” and my goal is to create beautiful designs that will accentuate every woman’s inner and outer beauty”.
